Grandma’s chocolate cookies

Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1-1/4 cups unsalted butter at room temperature
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

In a bowl sift together flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, salt.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat at medium speed, butter with sugar and eggs. Mix until the ingredients are fluffy and light. Add the vanilla extract and mix again.
Gradually add the dry ingredients, at low speed.
Wrap the dough with palstic wrap and chill for about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Take the dough and roll it into 1 inch balls.
Pour same sugar in a bowl and dip each little ball in it.
place the balls on prepared baking sheet about 1-1/2 inches apart.
Bake for about 8-10 minutes.
Cool on baking sheet befor transfer them to a rack to cool before store the cookies.
Repeat with the remaining dough.
