Vegan midnight espresso smoothie -english version-

I really love smoothies, they are refreshing, healthy, colorful and often I’m going to use them as a proper dessert because they are even nice and pretty.
What more can you want? I almost forgot to tell you that this recipe is without banana.
I know could be strange preparing a smoothie without banana, but trust me, it’s possible.
The midnight espresso smoothie is an evidence of this.
You can also substitute coffee with decaffeinated coffee and the result will be the same.

Ingredients (for 1 smoothie)

1 cup and a half of unsweetened soy milk (or other non-dairy milk)
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1tbsp instant coffee powder or 1 shot of regular espresso
3/4 dates unpitted
1 tsp real vanilla extract
6 ice cubes
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

Combine all the ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Pour smoothie into tall glass and serve.
You can also garnish it with fresh fruit or seeds.
