Buongiorno amici del web. Ogni anno a Lucca (Lucca comics) si tiene una manifestazione dedicata ai fumetti, dove protagonisti sono anche i cosplay che animano l’interno delle antiche mura.

Quest’anno per la 55esima edizione vi erano ingressi contingentati e noi non siamo riusciti a comprare i biglietti per i poli fieristici.

Abbiamo potuto godere di una lunga passeggiata all’aria aperta- con una temperatura primaverile – circondati da centinaia di cosplay che si aggiravano all’interno e all’esterno delle mura della meravigliosa Lucca.

Con i nostri amici abbiamo incontrato i personaggi Marvel, il Grinch, Mario e Luigi, personaggi di Star Wars, l’uomo Tigre, Sqid game e tanto altro ancora.

Grandi e piccini eravamo tutti affascinati e a bocca aperta guardando quei costumi ben fatti, professionali e io credo fortemente che mio figlio abbia vissuto un sogno incontrando l’uomo ragno, Batman, i maestri Jedi.

A pensarci bene è stata per noi una fortuna il sold out perché le file per entrare nei padiglioni erano molto lunghe mentre noi ci siamo rilassati all’aria aperta tra una foto e un’altra e un picnic sull’erba sulle alte mura di Lucca.

Il giorno dopo abbiamo festeggiato Halloween all’italiana. Abbiamo giocato a dolcetto o scherzetto, ci siamo travestiti truccati e abbiamo riso a crepapelle.

Ma la Toscana, in particolare Lucca e Pistoia ci hanno regalato cene in ristoranti molto particolare di cui vi parlerò la prossima volta.

E infine una chicca meravigliosa “Villa di Papiano” a San Baronto che ci ha ospitato in meravigliosi appartamenti e prima di andare via ci ha fatto dono della visita alla parte museale della villa dove abbiamo fatto un tuffo che dal 1400 ci ha condotto nel 1800…. ma pazientate di tutto questo vi parlerò nei prossimi post per non sciupare nessun particolare o nessuna emozione.

Chi non conosce i formaggini Babybel? Da tanti anni si trovano a gruppetti dentro la retina bianca, piccoli, tondi, ricoperti di cera rossa con quel filo da tirare per togliere l’involucro e arrivare al formaggino vero e proprio, quella cera rossa che viene naturale manipolare, stringere fra le mani, giocarci, romperla.

Propria la cera rossa dei Babybel è protagonista delle opere che Mitchell McLanaghan realizza, un ragazzo inglese di trentadue anni a cui da bambino viene diagnosticato l’autismo, la sorella racconta che si tratta di una forma piuttosto grave ma questo non impedisce a Mitchell di creare e stupire con le sue opere.

Mitchell da oltre vent’anni realizza con la cera dei formaggini personaggi dei cartoni animati Disney, opere a tema Natale, Halloween, frutta, verdura, pensate che ha realizzato tutto il cast de Il Signore degli Anelli e di Star Wars in forma tridimensionale.

Anche quest’anno il 15 dicembre, esce un nuovo film della saga di Star Wars e anche quest’anno lo celebreremo con lo Star Wars Tribute, al Teatro Politeama Multisala di Poggibonsi (Si).
Partecipo ai festeggiamenti con improbabili piatti ispirati alla saga. Lo scorso anno ho presentato il Wasaka Berry Pudding , la pizza Mustafar ed il Bantha Burger. Quest’anno, gli anelli di Sarlaac: biscotti di frolla a forma di ciambella realizzati con un doppio impasto giallo (farina di mais e curcuma) e nero (cacao e carbone vegetale).

Ingredienti:

per la frolla gialla

100 g di farina di mais fioretto
210 g di farina 00
60 g di zucchero a velo
110 g di burro freddo
1 uovo
1 pizzico di sale fino
1 pizzico di lievito per dolci
1 cucchiaio di curcuma

per la frolla nera

250 g di farina 00
50 g di cacao amaro
10 g di carbone vegetale
125 g di burro
125 g di zucchero
1 uovo
1 pizzico di sale
3 cucchiai di acqua ghiacciata (optional: se occorre o no dipende dalla grandezza delle uova)

Preparazione

per la frolla gialla

Setacciare le farine e mescolarle bene in una ciotola. Fare la fontana ed unire il burro tagliato a piccoli pezzi. Impastare bene con le dita fino ad ottenere un composto sabbioso. Aggiungere lo zucchero e mescolare velocemente. Aggiungere l’uovo, il sale e l’acqua (se serve) impastando velocemente fino a formare una palla. Avvolgere la pasta frolla nella pellicola e trasferirla in frigo per almeno mezz’ora.

per la frolla nera

Setacciare la farina, il lievito, il cacao ed il carbone vegetale in una ciotola. Fare la fontana ed aggiungere il burro a pezzettini. Impastare con la punta delle dita, fino ad ottenere un composto sabbioso. Aggiungere lo zucchero mescolando velocemente, poi l’uovo, il sale e l’acqua se serve ed impastare fino a formare una palla. Avvolgere nella pellicola e far riposare in frigo per almeno mezz’ora.

Composizione del biscotto

Preriscaldare il forno a 180°. Trascorso il tempo di riposo, togliere le due frolle dal frigo. Stendere la frolla nera con il mattarello, su un piano leggermente infarinato, fino a 2/3 mm di spessore. Stendere anche la gialla fino a 2/3 mm di spessore ed utilizzare un coltello affilato per praticarci dei tagli, come si vede nella foto. Sovrapporre alla frolla nera, quella gialla tagliata.

Poi con un anello da cm 6 ritagliare i biscotti e con uno da cm 3 copparli nel centro per creare degli anelli.

Appena i biscotti sono formati adagiarli su una teglia ricoperta di carta forno e passarli per mezz’ora in frigo: questa operazione serve a far mantenere la forma alla frolla.

Dopo il riposo in frigo, preriscaldare il forno a 180° e infornare la teglia passandola direttamente dal frigo al forno. Cuocere i biscotti per circa 20 minuti, facendo attenzione, la frolla gialla non deve cambiare colore.

Appena cotti, lasciarli raffreddare un po’ nella teglia e poi passarli su una griglia per il raffreddamento totale. Si conservano una volta freddi in una scatola di latta per diversi giorni.

E’ già, siamo arrivati a sette! 7 anni di blog. E voglio condividere questo giorno con tutti voi!E’ solo grazie a voi lettori che sono arrivata fino a qui’, vorrei scrivere molto di più, ho tantissime idee, prometto che cercherò di farlo. Ho un sacco di foto di posti da farvi vedere, di luoghi da raccontare, molti scoperti per caso. Più che altro in quest’ultimo anno sono successe un sacco di cose inaspettate, la pubblicazione del libro, tanta nuove persone speciali conosciute, insomma un piacevole periodo intenso. Sempre restando con i piedi per terra, e a lavoro nei miei amati giardini, perché senza di loro non ci sarebbero le idee!

Sette anni di noi, di già… e come sono volati! Pare ieri che sono andata da un amico a farmi insegnare come si usa wordpress, a come caricare le foto per il blog. Praticamente mi si è aperto un nuovo mondo, e vi do un consiglio, non lasciatevi scappare i desideri, siate ottimisti e pieni di sole. E’ questo il segreto…l’energia positiva aiuta, con la tristezza e la scontentezza perenne, non si va da nessuna parte.

La bellissima torta di “Star Wars” è stata fatta dalla mia cara amica e bravissima pasticcera amatoriale Barbara Romoli.

L’articolo 7 anni di blog! Buon Compleanno! sembra essere il primo su La Finestra di Stefania.
