Victor Boniface is unlikely to be available for Friday’s trip to Borussia Dortmund as he has yet to fully recover from his injury.

German outlet Ufabet reported on Monday that Leverkusen striker Viktor Boniface is likely to miss Friday’s Bundesliga trip to Borussia Dortmund as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

Le ali di pollo non sono mai state la mia passione, ma forse perché non ho mai saputo valorizzarle. Quindi quando ho visto la ricetta di queste ali di pollo con gochujang, lime e burro alle erbe, tratta dal libro Butter di James Martin, ho voluto provare e devo dire una cosa, non so se è per la frittura preventiva delle ali, non so se è per il condimento, ma alla fine sono venute spettacolari….evviva le ali di pollo!

Perché il padel va di moda?

Indubbiamente il padel è lo sport del momento e lo dimostra il crescente numero di campi inaugurati negli ultimi anni e il crescente numero di appassionati che si avvicinano a questo sport (un aumento del 140% tra il 2018 e il 2019).

Si tratta di uno sport aerobico immediato e divertente nato in Messico e apparentemente simile al tennis arrivato in Italia grazie al giocatore argentino Martin Calvelo che all’inizio degli anni ’90 ha costruito i primi 2 campi a Costabissara, in provincia di Vicenza.

Da circa 5 anni questa disciplina di derivazione tennistica è arrivata anche in Italia. E’ un gioco rapido e molto avvincente che si svolge all’interno di un campo rettangolare diviso da una rete con l’obiettivo – proprio come nel tennis – di buttare la pallina nel campo avversario per fare punto. Si gioca in doppio quindi 4 atleti in totale con dei fondamentali di gioco che si imparano abbastanza velocemente.

Perché il Padel va di moda?

Il Padel piace in primis ai tennisti e a chi pratica squash viste le similitudini che ci sono a livello di gioco ma non solo vista la rapidità con cui si sta diffondendo.

Giocare costa relativamente poco dato che l’attrezzatura base necessaria per iniziare a giocare è racchetta e palline e a livello di abbigliamento basta dotarsi di maglietta, pantaloncini e scarpe da ginnastica con un tipo di suola adatta alla superficie di gioco (ovvio che poi c’è da considerare il costo per prenotare il campo e eventuali lezioni private con il maestro se una persona parte da zero). E’ uno sport adatto a tutti, bambini e uomini e donne di tutte le età e dal 2008 è entrato a far parte del Federtennis.

Padel e tennis: le differenze principali

Il padel è una disciplina di derivazione tennistica e per quanto riguarda l’impostazione di gioco, il sistema di punteggio e l’attrezzatura necessaria, padel e tennis sono davvero molto simili. Simili ma non uguali.

Il campo da gioco

Nel padel il campo misura 20 metri di lunghezza per 10 metri di lunghezza, mentre nel tennis il campo è lungo quasi 24 metri e largo 10,97 nei doppi e 8,23 nei singoli. Inoltre nel tennis i campi possono essere in terra rossa, cemento, sintetico, erba mentre nel padel le superfici di gioco sono comunemente in cemento, materiale sintetico o calcestruzzo poroso. Nel padel le pareti di cristallo temperato che delimitano il fondocampo fanno parte dell’area di gioco pertanto se la pallina durante lo scambio rimbalza su queste pareti può essere respinta con la pala.

Il servizio

Nel tennis il servizio si esegue dall’alto mentre nel padel prima si fa rimbalzare la pallina nella propria area di battuta per poi colpirla all’altezza della vita.

La racchetta e la pallina

Nel padel la racchetta si chiama pala, è senza incordatura, con il piatto rigido con forellini ed è molto più piccola rispetto alla racchetta da tennis.

Le palline da padel e da tennis non hanno grossissime differenze. Quella da tennis è più dura mentre quella da padel ha una pressione interna inferiore che la rende più morbida e con un rimbalzo più controllato.

Il punteggio

Il calcolo dei punti è identico tra tennis e padel. Si parte da zero, quando una coppia vince il primo punto, si va a 15; se vince il secondo punto, si passa a 30; se vince il terzo punto, il punteggio è 40 e con il quarto punto vinto si vince il gioco, tranne quando entrambe le coppie hanno vinto tre punti ed il punteggio è “parità”. In questo caso il punto seguente è chiamato vantaggio e se la stessa coppia si aggiudica anche il punto seguente, vince il gioco; se invece lo perde, si ritorna in “parità” e così di seguito finché una delle due coppie non si aggiudica 2 punti consecutivi dopo la “parità”, necessari per vincere il gioco. La prima squadra che si aggiudica 6 giochi con almeno 2 di vantaggio, vince l’incontro.

Tanti sono i benefici che derivano dal praticare padel.

Facilita la socializzazione, migliora l’agilità e la resistenza fisica, aiuta ad alleviare lo stress, aiuta la coordinazione, stimola i riflessi, migliora il sistema cardiovascolare e il tono muscolare e permette di bruciare notevoli calorie.

Transgender Day of Remembrance reminds us to fight against forces that devalue transgender lives every day. To bring awareness to this important day, we want to pause to share a few stories of transgender people who have found their voice on WordPress.com. We posed a question: “What does Transgender Day of Remembrance mean to you?” Below, we’ve shared a few responses from creators on our platform.

We name the nonbinary people who continue to be treated as unnameable as we slip through the matrix of binary gender. The competing racialized pandemics of our time continues to be intensified for trans people, especially Black trans women, in this year as with any other. We live with that reality and demand non-trans people do the same because our resilience is nothing without their reckoning for the violence they allow to continue against us. Trans Day of Remembrance is not only about how trans people have been stolen from us too soon, but how we continue to survive and thrive and persist against all odds. Going and spending some time in the company of other trans people was wonderful. I got to see trans people from a variety of backgrounds, some who had grown old and found love, and see proof that I could live a long and happy life as a trans woman. But the tone of the evening was contrasted by sitting with the knowledge of why we were all gathered, the knowledge of far too many lives cut far too short. I was surrounded by the trans people who had survived and thrived, as well as the memories of those who had not.

Every time I listen to a Transgender Day of Remembrance speech, it brings me back to Martin Luther King’s speech, “I Have a Dream.” What King said about everyone being equal and having equal opportunities is so true when I hear the transgender people’s names who have died. It breaks my heart to hear all of the transgender people that died for the year. In spite of the hatred toward transgender people, I rise above it all and help transgender people all over the world with my website transgendersupport.org. If you ever thought this year was scary, oppressive, isolating, challenging to get through and potentially fatal to be around people… you’ve been living a lot of the worst parts of the trans experience. Gender and its expressions have been changing throughout cultures, and trans people have existed throughout history with notable examples in the many ancient pantheons, including deities. There’s nothing new to consider, no trans question – we’ve been here all along, and the only terrible things that happened because of it happened to us…

And so I’m remembering trans lives lost this year, and trans lives filled with trauma, and everything that trans people have to do to simply… be. If you ever thought this year was scary, oppressive, isolating, challenging to get through and potentially fatal to be around people… you’ve been living a lot of the worst parts of the trans experience. Yet I’m remembering the powerful joy of my community, how our bonds through the pandemic have been strong, how well accustomed we immediately became to 2020, having lived our own version of it for most of our lives, creating found families, love, laughter, understanding and sometimes rainbows out of the unforgiving raw material of compromise.

We recall Riah Milton. We recollect the fierce life of one of our greatest contemporary remembrancers, the trans griot Monica Roberts. We name the nonbinary people who continue to be treated as unnameable as we slip through the matrix of binary gender. The competing racialized pandemics of our time continues to be intensified for trans people, especially Black trans women, in this year as with any other. We live with that reality and demand non-trans people do the same because our resilience is nothing without their reckoning for the violence they allow to continue against us. Trans Day of Remembrance is not only about how trans people have been stolen from us too soon, but how we continue to survive and thrive and persist against all odds. Has there ever been anything as beautiful as that?
