“C’è più gusto a chilometro zero”: è questo lo slogan della seconda edizione del calendario narrativo Foodyear.
L’Anno dei Sapori comincerà sabato 4 gennaio 2025 alle ore 9.45, in occasione della presentazione dell’iniziativa editoriale alla stampa.
L’incontro si terrà allo Yacht Club Marina di Stabia  (Via de Gasperi n. 313)  a Castellammare di Stabia (Napoli).

Il calendario narrativo che promuove le realtà culinarie campane è
partito un anno fa da Pompei ma amplierà il suo “sguardo” nel 2025. Il
filo rosso che legherà i protagonisti di questa nuova edizione sarà il
concetto di “chilometro zero”, ovvero quel tipo di politica economica e
commerciale che predilige l’utilizzo di prodotti locali o derivanti da
luoghi non molto lontani. Coloro che sostengono questa politica
affermano, infatti, che l’adozione di abitudini simili riduca molti dei
fattori che contribuiscono all’inquinamento ambientale.

Il progetto, ideato e voluto dal fotoreporter Gianni Cesariello, dalla giornalista Ilaria Cotarella e dal direttore di “Made in Pompei”, Marco Pirollo, ha intrapreso il suo viaggio nella città dei Romani un anno fa.

Tra una parmigiana ed un’insalata di rinforzo, tra una pizza e un
panettone, durante questo viaggio sono state raccontate le storie di
chef, ristoratori, pizzaioli e pasticcieri che hanno fatto della città
degli Scavi e del Santuario un punto di riferimento del gusto. In questa
seconda edizione, invece, si toccheranno anche le città di
Castellammare di Stabia e Gragnano. Si darà uno sguardo al mare ed alla
tradizione del panuozzo. I racconti saranno sempre più proiettati alla
promozione di abitudini che facciano bene all’ambiente che ci circonda.

Non si racconteranno storie di “paladini” che salvano l’ambiente, ma
di piccole azioni quotidiane che possono, a lungo termine, portare a
grandi risultati.

Vero è che l’idea del “chilometro zero” si è evoluta negli anni e ad
oggi, essendo molto vicina al concetto di sostenibilità, ha spinto le
persone a sviluppare abitudini sane nelle proprie case e a ricercare la
genuinità dei sapori e delle pietanze fuori casa.

Mese dopo mese si narreranno le abitudini sane che i ristoratori e
gli chef hanno adottato nei loro locali, come si cerca di ridurre gli
sprechi e quali sono i prodotti che si utilizzano in cucina per essere
sempre più vicini all’idea di chilometro zero. Che sia la pizza, la
pasta al pomodoro, un piatto di fettuccine ai funghi porcini, delle
verdure cotte a vapore o il panuozzo con le melanzane grigliate, il cibo
deve fare bene al corpo ed alla mente.

Ecco perché il titolo del calendario sarà “C’è più gusto a chilometro
zero”. Si auspica che in futuro si possa assicurare il soddisfacimento
dei bisogni della generazione presente senza compromettere quelli delle
generazioni future.
