durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale,

grazie all’intraprendenza di Zappalà Venerando.

Egli nel 1955 apre un nuovo stabilimento a Mascalucia,

un paese della provincia di Catania sulle falde dell’Etna,

e tramanda la complessa arte molitoria e la passione per la genuinità dei prodotti

prima ai figli e poi ai nipoti.

Grazie alla volontà di ottimizzare i processi e ai continui investimenti

tesi al miglioramento degli impianti, oggi l’azienda,

già alla terza generazione, vanta un’efficienza produttiva di 240 q.li/24h.

Il prodotto finito è ottenuto grazie alle accurate analisi chimico-fisiche

effettuate in laboratorio e alla minuziosa selezione delle materie prime 

provenienti da consorzi e agricoltori siciliani.
